Currently, Wolong Panda Reserves, Ya'an Panda Reserve Base and Panda Zoo are the main destinations for Panda discovery travel. Other interesting travel attractions include: Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Sanxingdui Museum, Wuhou Memorial Temple and the Temple of Marquis Wu, etc. Natural beauty abounds in surrounding areas such as the Emei Mountain, the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area and Huang Long Valley (Yellow Dragon Valley).

Sampling the famous Sichuan cuisine is a must on a travel to Chengdu. Various of local dishes and snacks with the main spicy flavor will easily give you a good appetite. Chengdu is also famous for its brocades and embroideries- "Shu Embroideries", which enjoys a high reputation for their bright colors and delicate designs, ranking among the four main embroideries in China.
