Tainggu is located in northeast part of the North of Tianjin, bordering the Bohai Sea in the east, leaning against the Yuanshan Mountain in the north. It is a very important port city in Nothern China. With an ideal location, it attracts much investment, so there are many large chemicals corporations and ocean oil exploration here. Also, it boasts the biggest man-made port in China--Tianjin Port. Tanggu is in a warm temperate zone and it has a

temperate continental monsoonal climate. The average temperature is a cool 14ºC with the maximum being 25ºC. The highest temperature is in July and is about 34ºC while the lowest is in January, and is about -4ºC. Spring is windy; summer is hot and wet; autumn is cool with mild and pleasant temperature; winter is cold without much snow. Most of the tourists would like to visit Tanggu in July and August. In autumn and spring, jeans and a sweater are usually enough. Shirts for the summer. You need warm clothing like cotton coats in winter.

We will arrive on princess cruise to Tanggu on 4th,Oc. How is the weather like in Tangu?

It is chilly in Tanggu in early October. The general temperature ranges from 11 degree to 19 degree Celsius. Generally speaking, it will be ok with shorts and shirts during the day. But I would also suggest bringing few autumn clothes, like a thin jacket, etc, in case of the unexpected cooler temperature.
