Hailar, located in the boundary of the northeast China and lies in the connection between western of Daxing'anling Ranges and high plain of Hulunbuir, is a city with the average elevation about 650 meters. The city enjoys a temperate continental monsoon climate with the four distinct seasons here. The annual temperature in Hailar is around 16 degrees celsius and the annual rainfall is around 550 mm.
