Suzhou, located in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River Delta, with Shanghai to the east and Hangzhou to the south, is a well-know travel and cultural city with 2500-year history. It has also been an important centre for China's silk industry and continues to hold that prominent position today. Now, it has become into a major center of the joint-venture high-tech manufacturing and currently boasts the most promising economies in the world.
