North Korea Embassies and Consulates

  • North Korea

North Korea, officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), is a state in East Asia, occupying the northern half of the Korean Peninsula. It is probably the most mysterious country in the world today and one almost entirely untouched by tourism. In 1949, China and the North Korea established diplomatic relations. Then in 1950, China sent its volunteer army at the request of North Korea side to join the war and assisted it in its post-war economic restoration and reconstruction. China and North Korea have all along maintained the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation, and leaders of the two Parties and two countries have kept in frequent contact.
